‘Conversations with Vulnerable People’ – One Day Fully Funded Digital Course

Samaritans Scotland is the UK’s leading suicide prevention charity and they are pleased to be offering our ‘Conversations with Vulnerable People’ training course to employers and communities in the West Highlands and Skye, free of charge.
The course equips participants with the skills and confidence to have supportive and effective conversations with vulnerable people – allowing them to manage those conversations effectively, and with confidence and sensitivity. This course would also be useful for managers who may support staff members who are experiencing poor wellbeing or struggling to cope.
The course is led by an expert Samaritans facilitator and uses a variety of tools to encourage interaction and group learning.
This course will take place in two three hour sessions as detailed below. You need to attend both sessions to receive a certificate.
