    “RSABI supports people from Scottish agriculture emotionally, practically and financially in times of need. The service is available to those previously and currently involved in farming, crofting and occupations involved in agriculture in Scotland. This is a comprehensive service to clients who are experiencing difficult times to enable them to move forward.

    Emotional support is available through our helpline, case officers and volunteers, all of whom are mental health first aid trained. We listen, keep people safe and access professional support when required.”

  • Dingwall Two’s Company

    About

    “Dingwall Two’s Company Befriending is a befriending service aimed at older adults who find themselves requiring some extra friendship and support, and this is provided through weekly telephone calls. We match volunteers with those who are referred to us and all volunteers are carefully selected, trained and vetted.”

  • Able Futures

    About:

    “Are you aged 16 or over? Are you in work, on an apprenticeship or about to start work? Do you live in England, Scotland or Wales? Do you have issues playing on your mind that are affecting how you feel at work?

    Able Futures gives you regular time to speak with a mental health specialist about issues that are affecting you at work, so that you can learn new ways to look after yourself so that you can feel more resilient and able to cope as well as finding the confidence to take practical steps to overcome problems and make adjustments to help your mental health at work. “

  • Lochaber MindFit

    About

    “Lochaber MindFit is a peer-to-peer support group for residents of Lochaber with the express purpose of providing emotional support at difficult times for people who have been affected by the issue of anxiety, depression or suicide, whether through their own personal experience or a family member of friend.

    Lochaber MindFit comprises two groups, one for men and one for women

    If you live in the Lochaber area of the Highlands our peer-to-peer groups are here to support you. Residents of Fort William and other local communities in Lochaber are welcome to participate in the group meetings.”

  • Feel Your Personal Best Campaign

    Launched jointly by SAMH (Scottish Association for Mental Health), Public Health Scotland, and sportscotland this campaign aims to encourage us to make small changes in our lives, that could help us to feel our personal best.

    The ‘Feel Your Personal Best’ campaign is about encouraging people to get moving in whatever way works for them and support their physical and mental health in doing so.

    “LGOWIT aims to raise awareness of the difficulties of living with lifelong chronic conditions, help people self-manage their conditions through training, education and fun; giving people the ability to control how they live their lives better and with confidence.
