“89%* of men in the UK will experience fatherhood in their lifetime. We know that children have better outcomes in life when all parents are actively involved in their upbringing. (*Fatherhood Institute) We welcome all Dads/Male carers, including trans and non-binary Dads at our groups and services.
Our aim is to improve outcomes for children in Scotland, to ensure the best start in life by providing support to Dads and families. Our hope is through achieving this, there will be a larger shift in society toward accepting the vital role Dads play.”
We work alongside young people to boost confidence through development of new skills working in and supporting their own local community
Our vision – A world where all young people can realise their unique potential, improve their lives for the long term and contribute to stronger communities

“Our mission is to help those in Skye and Lochalsh suffering from mental ill health.
Our services are very informal and not at all like the stereotype of a mental health centre. Mental ill health is hard to talk about and causes a lot of isolation. We’re all about giving people a place where they feel included and accepted. Currently supporting around 120 people, we’re a lifeline for our members, who often talk about the service like a family and as a vital component in their recovery journey.
We are user led organisation which anyone who lives in Skye and Lochalsh is able to join.
We offer support to anyone living in the Skye and Lochalsh area who is suffering from mental health difficulties. You don’t need to be referred to attend our drop-in centre in Portree or to An Drochaid in Kyle. We also offer outreach support by referral only through the local Mental Health Team.”
“RSABI supports people from Scottish agriculture emotionally, practically and financially in times of need. The service is available to those previously and currently involved in farming, crofting and occupations involved in agriculture in Scotland. This is a comprehensive service to clients who are experiencing difficult times to enable them to move forward.
Emotional support is available through our helpline, case officers and volunteers, all of whom are mental health first aid trained. We listen, keep people safe and access professional support when required.”
