DESCRIPTION:Samaritans are hosting a programme of webinars for the West Highlands & Skye – raising awareness of emotional health\, suicide\, self-harm\, how to seek and provide support\, as well as an introduction to listening skills. \nThere are five webinars in the series: \n\nEmotional health and wellbeing\nChallenging myths about suicide\nSelf-harm\nStaying resilient\nHow to listen\n\nEach session will include an introduction to Samaritans and then focus on a specific theme\, sharing ways to contact or signpost to Samaritans. There will also be the chance to find out more about volunteering opportunities with Samaritans in the West Highlands and Skye area. \nThis webinar will explore and debunk five of the most pervasive myths about people who experience thoughts and feelings of suicide.
