DESCRIPTION:Are you a Carer? \nThe Highland Carers Roadshow is coming soon to spread support among unpaid carers in the Highlands.👐 \nFrom September 20th to October 5th\, NHS Highland is working with other organisations to host a series of FREE events which recognise and support unpaid carers in the community. \nThousands of people in Highland have caring responsibilities. Many don’t realise there is support available. Everyone is welcome to drop into any of the events and bring the person or people they care for. DESCRIPTION:Samaritans are hosting a programme of webinars for the West Highlands & Skye – raising awareness of emotional health\, suicide\, self-harm\, how to seek and provide support\, as well as an introduction to listening skills. \nThere are five webinars in the series: \n\nEmotional health and wellbeing\nChallenging myths about suicide\nSelf-harm\nStaying resilient\nHow to listen\n\nEach session will include an introduction to Samaritans and then focus on a specific theme\, sharing ways to contact or signpost to Samaritans.
