Reading Well Books on Prescription helps people manage their own health and well-being through recommended self-help books. We aim to promote health using books to help people who suffer from stress, depression, or other emotional problems.
People who use the books may have been referred to the Reading Well collection by their GP or another health professional, but anyone can borrow them if they think the books will help them with their particular problem.

Stress doesn’t just make you feel bad, it’s not good for your health. Thankfully, there are steps you can take to start dealing with it. Research shows that small steps can make a big difference. Wellness Action Plan download | Mind
Wellness Actions Plans (WAPs) are an easy, practical way of helping you to support your own mental health at work and, if you are a manager, helping you to support the mental health of your team members.
Everyone can complete a Wellness Action Plan, you don’t need to have a mental health problem in order to feel the benefits. It just means that you already have practical steps in place to ensure you are supported when you aren’t feeling great.
