Just Listen

  • One in four of us will have a mental health problem at some time in our lives. However it remains a subject that is rarely spoken of – an issue best kept quiet about. This attitude creates an atmosphere of ignorance, prejudice and fear founded on misconceptions. Attitudes change when everyone is given an equal chance to voice their concerns and opinions. The people interviwed in this DVD talk frankly about their experiences and the problems they encountered.  DVD duration 30 minutes.

‘Connect Us Too’ – a new mental health resource for deaf people.

This is a series of British Sign Language videos on mental health which aim to help breakdown the stigma of mental health issues and encourage deaf people to talk to others about their mental health.  It has been produced by a partnership of organisations including Deaf Scotland, Deaf Links and See Me.
