Aims and Objectives
To upskill people who have already attended a Suicide Intervention and Prevention Course (SIPP) and would like to build on their skill set to develop and use Safety planning tools.

3 hours
Learning Objectives
At the end of the training you will be better able to:
- Ask about suicide
- Assess the immediate risk of suicide
- Assist in completing a Safety Action Plan
- Guide a discussion with someone about the next steps in following their safety plan.
Audience
It is a prerequisite that people interested in attending this training have already attended a Suicide Intervention and Prevention (SIPP) course. This course is intended for those staff who are interested in exploring in greater depth the use of Safety Planning to keep someone safe.
