School Nursing Highland

School Nurses have helped children, young people and families be health for over a century. In Scotland today many families live in poverty and with pressures which affect many areas of their health. School Nurses play a pivotal role in promoting good health, preventing ill health and supporting schools and families to have the best possible outcomes.

Across Highland There is a team of highly skilled nurses and assistants working as part of the service, supporting children, young people, families, schools and communities. If you are needing help or advice, you will be guided to the right member of the team with the right skills.

School Nurses have undertaken additional training to support you with your mental health and will be happy to meet with you at school or in the community. Reach out to us for all your health needs for the school aged population. Complete the request for service via our School Nursing website or telephone us at one of our bases.
