About
“Our mission is to help those in Skye and Lochalsh suffering from mental ill health.
Our services are very informal and not at all like the stereotype of a mental health centre. Mental ill health is hard to talk about and causes a lot of isolation. We’re all about giving people a place where they feel included and accepted. Currently supporting around 120 people, we’re a lifeline for our members, who often talk about the service like a family and as a vital component in their recovery journey.
We are user led organisation which anyone who lives in Skye and Lochalsh is able to join.
We offer support to anyone living in the Skye and Lochalsh area who is suffering from mental health difficulties. You don’t need to be referred to attend our drop-in centre in Portree or to An Drochaid in Kyle. We also offer outreach support by referral only through the local Mental Health Team.”
