Aims and Objectives:
Learn about:
- Understanding personal wellbeing, stress, and how to maintain a healthy balance.
- Increased understanding of common types of mental illness.
- Understanding how the Equality Act (2010) protects mental health and mental illness.
- Building awareness of the stigma that exists around mental health and how we can alleviate this.
- Practical advice on supporting others with their mental health.
- A framework for supportive conversations in the workplace.
Through facilitator-led knowledge, discussions and breakaway tasks, participants will cover the following 4 modules:
- Your Wellbeing
- Mental Health and Mental Illness
- Stigma and Discrimination
- Supportive Conversations
